The medal 30 years of Soviet Army and Navy

The medal "30 years of Soviet Army and Navy" (Russian медаль «30 лет Вооружённых Сил СССР) was an award of the Soviet Union, which at 23 February 1948 on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Soviet Armed Forces and its fleet was donated in one stage. The award was presented to all military ranks of the army.
The 32 mm by measuring gold medal in brass on their obverse shows the right-looking head busts of Stalin and Lenin, as well as the underlying Roman numeral XXX> (30). The reverse of the coin shows contrast within the inscription: В ОЗНАМЕНОВАНИЕ тридцтой годовщины (To commemorate the occasion of the fortieth anniversary), the three-line inscription: Советской / Армии и Флота / 1918-1948 (Soviet Army and Navy). Including a Soviet star is finally ready. The medal was worn on the left breast side of the Beliehenen on a pentagonal red clip in the 4 mm from both ends, a gray vertical center stripe is woven from the hem. The interim clip is of the same nature. It 820 080 medals were awarded.
