The jubilee medal XX years of Workers and Peasants Red Army

The jubilee medal "XX years of Workers and Peasants Red Army" (Russian Юбилейная медаль "XX лет Рабоче-Крестьянской Красной Армии") was at the 20th Anniversary of the founding of the Red Army on 24 Founded in January 1938. She was the first portable state award of the USSR in medal form at all. The award number amounted to 37,504 carriers.
The 30 mm by measuring silver medal on their obverse shows a dominant enameled red star, and the Roman numeral XX. The smooth edge is three millimeters wide. The reverse of the coin, however, shows a right-wing Red Army soldier holding a rifle at the ready. Right next to this, the anniversary to read data from 1918 to 1938.
