The medal "For Bravery (Russian Медаль« За отвагу ") was a Soviet award, the first on 18 October 1936 was donated. Their new edition is on 2 March 1994. Since it is also an award as Russia. The award of the medal will be (was) here at members of the Soviet and Russian armed forces, mainly from the Army, Navy, Border Troops and interior troops and, in exceptional cases, to civilians for personal bravery in the defense of the motherland. The silver medal with a diameter of 37 mm shows a tank on their obverse type of KW-2 (but as a special version with double tube) and three aircraft flying in the sky westward. Between the three line embossed depth and red painted inscription За / отвагу / CCCP is (for / bravery / Socialist Republic, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics). The reverse, however, is smooth and shows a stamped award number. The medal is worn on the upper left side of the chest Beliehenen to an elongated pentagonal fabric-covered buckle, the basic color is gray. His collar is blue. The accompanying interim clip is of the same nature. The look of today's medal has been virtually unchanged, only the CCCP inscription has been erased from the obverse.
