The Order of the October Revolution (Russian Орден Октябрьской Революции / Order Oktjabrskoi Revolyutsii) was a civil order of the Soviet Union. Donated on the 50th Anniversary of the October Revolution on 31 October 1967, he has been awarded to people or institutions who have rendered services to the Soviet Union. The Order was the second highest award after the Order of Lenin. He was born on a Fünfeckspange.

The Badge of the Order consisted of a red enameled star with golden border and beams. In the center of the star a pentagon with the cruiser Aurora was visible from a banner with the inscription ОКТЯБРЬСКАЯ РЕВОЛЮЦИЯ (German: October Revolution) stood out. Beneath the Aurora there was the state emblem, consisting of a hammer and sickle.
