Medal "For outstanding services for the protection of public order" by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on 1 Founded in November 1950.
Medal "For distinguished service to public order" is awarded to:
Soldiers and officers of the bodies of internal affairs and internal troops of the exploits and achievements, represented for the maintenance of public order and the fight against crime;
Members of the volunteer teams and other citizens to participate actively in the protection of public order and for his courage and dedication.
