The medal For the liberation of Belgrade (Var-2)

The medal "For the liberation of Belgrade" (Russian Медаль "За освобождение Белграда") was a Soviet award during the Second World War as part of the Belgrade operation which led to the conquest of Belgrade by the Soviet Red Army. Your foundation on 9 June 1945 by Joseph Stalin.
Stylish look and manner
The bronze medal on their obverse shows two crossed below, upward curved and open laurel branches, which are connected at their lower intersection indicated by a loop. Between their upper ends flaunts a Soviet star. Center the semi-circular, raised embossed inscription is: За освобождение (for exemption) to read and horizontally among Белграда (Belgrade). The reverse depicts the three-line inscription: 20 / октября / 1944 (20 October 1944), the date of the taking of Belgrade.
The medal was worn on the left side of the upper chest Beliehenen of an elongated pentagonal fabric-covered buckle, the basic color is green. In this band a black center stripe is perpendicular woven. The accompanying interim clip is of the same nature.
