The Order of the White Falcon (also called the House Order of Vigilance), was an Order of the Grand Duchy of Saxe-Weimar.

Creation: The falconry in the Middle Ages usually the amusement of the nobles, and the hawk was considered a sign of nobility. Even Henry IV. Took falcon on in the kingdom seal. Since this bird to the 18th century enjoyed great veneration, it was obvious that they gave him instead of the eagle and other animals a religious character. The Order kept the form and name since its foundation on August 2, 1732. Duke Ernst August of Saxe-Weimar, (the grandfather of the famous later Grand Duke Carl August, Goethe to his court appointed) endowed him with the approval and in honor of Emperor Karl VI., of which he general-field marshal-lieutenant was, and gave him the title of "de la Vigilance". Over time, however, the number of members decreased so strong and the Order fell into disrepair. 1806 lived only a holder of the Order, a knight. When Duke Carl August after 40 years of government with the elevation of his country to the Grand Duchy of Grand Duke was, liked the magnification of the territory have given occasion to create a Merit. That same year, awoke the House Order of Vigilance or Order of the White Falcon to life. He was replaced by the Grand Duke Karl August on 18 October 1815 and revived under the dual designation Order of the White Falcon or House Order of vigilance.
